Event: Halloween 2026 — Double Candy Research
Outline
Trick or treat!
This week-long event is a special opportunity to encounter more Ghost-type Pokémon!
During this event, you may even meet the new arrivals, Misdreavus, and Mismagius, and an Eevee wearing a Halloween hat.
You can also get at least 2 times the usual number of candies from sleep research.
Try getting lots of candies during this event!
And during this event, Ghost-type Pokémon such as Gengar can appear on Greengrass Isle and Greengrass Isle (Expert)!
There will also be other bonuses.

The following effects will trigger in the applicable areas during this event.
— All Days —
• Certain Pokémon will be more likely to appear during sleep research.
• Each time a Ghost-type helper Pokémon brings you ingredients as it regularly would, it will have 1 extra.
• The chance of any Ghost-type helper Pokémon’s main skill being triggered will be multiplied by 1.25.
• Main skill levels of Ghost-type helper Pokémon will be boosted by 3 when they trigger.
• The Snorlax in the event areas will have Bluk Berries (Ghost type) set as one of its favorite Berries. The other two kinds of Berries will be chosen at random.
• A few Pokémon of different sleep types will appear during sleep research regardless of your sleep type for that day.

• If you participate in the event in an expert area, Snorlax’s main favorite Berry for the week will be Bluk Berries, and Snorlax’s sub-favorite Berries will be random.

To commemorate Halloween 2026 — Double Candy Research, Eevee (Halloween) will be appearing with a new purple hat!
This is a great opportunity to use Eevee (Halloween) Incense—which you can get as a reward for completing limited-time missions—to research this Eevee’s sleep styles!

Note: It is also possible during sleep research to encounter Pokémon in Halloween costumes that appeared during previous Halloween events.
Details
• Important: After the event, the following Pokémon will no longer appear during sleep research conducted on Greengrass Isle, but they can still appear on Greengrass Isle until if you use the respective Pokémon’s incense.
Gengar, Drifblim, and Skeledirge
• Important: After the event, the following Pokémon will no longer appear during sleep research conducted on Greengrass Isle (Expert), but they can still appear on Greengrass Isle (Expert) until if you use the respective Pokémon’s incense.
Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar
• Event bonuses apply only to sleep data tracked during the event.
• If you wait to report sleep data tracked before the event began and select “Review Later” during the event, event bonuses will not be applied.
• If you wait to report sleep data tracked during the event and select “Review Later” after the event has ended, event bonuses will be applied.
• Event bonuses do not apply to sleep tracking during the tutorial.
• If overlapping events trigger more than one of the same type of bonus, the larger bonus will be applied.
• The event’s candy bonus does not apply to the second sleep session of the day.
• Event bonuses will not raise main skill levels beyond max level. The value of the main skill displayed on the Pokémon details screen is the value before the bonus effects apply. Also, for Pokémon that were already on your team before the event started, the first time their main skill triggers during the event may not include the bonus effect in some cases.
• The Pokémon in Halloween costumes that appeared during the Halloween event will stop appearing during regular sleep research after the event has ended, but they will appear if you use the respective Pokémon’s incense. They may also appear in another event sometime in the future.
• The Pokémon in Halloween costumes that appeared during the Halloween event cannot be evolved.
