From Aug. 10, a new expert area—Cyan Beach (Expert)—will be available!

Expert mode is a challenging game mode that will feature ways for all kinds of helper Pokémon to contribute.

In expert mode, Snorlax’s favorite Berries for the week will be divided into one main favorite and two sub-favorites. Pokémon that gather Snorlax’s main favorite Berry will receive bonuses, such as shorter helping frequency.
The main favorite Berry on Cyan Beach (Expert) will be selected randomly from Pecha Berry, Pamtre Berry, and Oran Berry. The sub-favorite Berries will be chosen at random from the 17 types of Berries that were not selected as the main favorite Berry.

In expert mode, the amount of Drowsy Power required to see Pokémon sleep styles will greatly increase, but the amount of Research EXP, Dream Shards, and Pokémon Candies you get for researching each sleep style will also increase.

Requirements to Unlock

If Snorlax’s rating reaches Master 18 in the following areas, expert mode will be available to play on Cyan Beach.
• Greengrass Isle, and Cyan Beach

Prepare for Cyan Beach (Expert) by befriending and raising many different kinds of Pokémon!
