Details
During the New Moon Day event, regardless of your sleep type, you can encounter Pokémon with special appearance rates in all areas.
Note: Depending on the area, a different Pokémon with special appearance rates may appear.
Pokémon with special appearance rates can appear during the first sleep research of the day, but will never appear during the second sleep research of the day.
Additionally, each time you don’t encounter a Pokémon with special appearance rates during sleep research, your chances of encountering a Pokémon with special appearance rates during New Moon Day sleep research will increase a little.
If you encounter a Pokémon with a special appearance rate, the number of Pokémon you encounter during that sleep research will increase by one.
Up to a maximum of 11 Pokémon can be encountered if you also use Pokémon incense or Good Camp Tickets.
• 【Important】 After the event ends, you’ll no longer be able to encounter Pokémon with special appearance rates in any area.
• Event bonuses apply only to sleep data tracked during the event.
• If you wait to report sleep data tracked before the event began and select “Review Later” during the event, event bonuses will not be applied.
• If you wait to report sleep data tracked during the event and select “Review Later” after the event has ended, event bonuses will be applied.
• Event bonuses do not apply to sleep tracking during the tutorial.
• Event bonuses will trigger regardless of which site you conduct your sleep research in.
• If overlapping events trigger more than one of the same type of bonus, the larger bonus will be applied.
• If there are multiple bonuses from different events that increase your chance to encounter Shiny Pokémon and apply to the same Pokémon, the bonus with the largest effect will be applied.
• Normally, if you conduct sleep research twice in one day and research at least 11 Pokémon in a single day, the research rewards for the eleventh and any subsequent Pokémon will be less. However, if you encounter a Pokémon with a special appearance rate, the research rewards will be less starting with the twelfth—and any subsequent—Pokémon.
