Thanks to all researchers’ efforts, we were able to collect lots of sleep style photos with Mew in them!

Previously found flying around sleeping Pokémon, it seems Mew might come over to sleep from now on, but only during the night of the new moon.

Note: You can use Eureka Seeds (Mew) to learn or change a main skill.
Note: Once you befriend Mew, it will learn the Metronome main skill.
Note: You can use a Eureka Seed (Mew) to learn one of the following main skills at random. You can also use a Eureka Seed (Mew) at any time to change the main skill to one you’ve already learned.
Note: Even if the main skill is changed, the main skill level will not change.
Note: The chance of triggering the main skill will vary based on the main skill that is set.

Eureka Seeds (Mew)

Eureka Seed (Mew) is a special item you can receive from Mew.
• You can receive it when you first befriend Mew or when you max out Mew’s Friendship Points.
• Can be used on Mew to unlock or change its sub skill, ingredients, or main skill.

Mythical Pokémon

Mew is a Mythical Pokémon.
• You can befriend only one of each Mythical Pokémon species.
• This Pokémon’s specialty is All, possessing characteristics of all the following specialties: Berries, ingredients, and skills.

Note: The sub skills and ingredients available when you befriend the Pokémon is different for each Mythical Pokémon.
• The sub skills and ingredient type available when you befriend the Pokémon and its Nature will be identical for each researcher.
• Mythical Pokémon are also considered Special Pokémon, and you can only have one Special Pokémon on the same team.
Note: There may be exceptions to this in the future.

About Future Events

From now on, Mew will appear on New Moon Day.

Mew’s Friendship Points

Researchers who couldn’t befriend Mew during Snapshot Surprise Missions will receive increased Friendship Points based on the number of Snapshot Surprise Photos collected when Mew first appears during New Moon Day.
Note: This is only applicable until New Moon Day in August. Encountering Mew during sleep research after this will not give increased Friendship Points.
Note: If you have completed Mew’s Snapshot Surprise missions but not yet encountered Mew, conducting sleep research by will cause Mew to appear and become your friend.
